All students with Turkish nationality may benefit from the insurance of the ones who are obliged to look after them (mother, father, etc.) during their higher education and as long as they are not older than 25. Part-time students, compulsory internship students and foreign students are included in this practice. At the beginning of each academic year, students are recommended to go to the Social Security Provincial Directorates or Social Security Centers together with student documents to update their situation.
